bulge: reconsidered
bulge is an ongoing project exploring body image, insecurity and vulnerability through material and form
each piece is individually hand built through countless hours of hard and meticulous work, resulting in no two artworks being the same
these pieces look at another way to explore the themes of the original bulge series whilst allowing growth as an artist
disclaimer: each of these pieces has been repaired with an epoxy and gold paint however do have glaze on the inside and are able to hold water if need be but there is a very small, small risk of the epoxy deteriorating and gold coming off if handled too often
**piece two is a little top heavy but with either water or a sand in the bottom would counteract that top heaviness
